The Banco de Desarrollo Productivo (The Bank of Productive Development), or BDP-S.A.M., was founded in 2007 with the purpose of supporting productive development in Bolivia through granting financial and non-financial services to the production sector of the country to boost and improve production, incomes, employment, and productive actors.
In this framework, BDP’s actions are directed towards promoting social and economic viability as well as the maintenance and making the most of natural resources. This is to be carried out in harmony and equilibrium with mother Earth through financing to strategic sectors (credit sectors) and in first class lines of business that is protected under prevailing environmental regulation in Bolivia.
