UNEP FI Network Co-ordinator for North America
UNEP FI is seeking a consultant to help develop its sustainable finance network with members in Canada and the United States and assist in implementing banking, insurance and investment activities in the region. The consultant will work with UNEP FI members to address their requirements, engage them in UNEP FI activities, and expand membership in North America. The role involves facilitating knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer learning through activities including meetings, calls and case studies. The consultant will support two-way communications between members and the Secretariat, provide briefings, share information, and update UNEP FI’s regional web page to reflect priorities in North America, developing a network of supporting institutions to support the sustainable finance agenda.
The right person will have excellent networking, relationship management and communications skills and at least 5 years’ experience in sustainable finance or a related field.

Communications & Outreach Consultancy, Positive Impact Finance
Started in 2015, the UNEP FI work stream on Positive Impact Finance provides a platform for financial institutions interested in working collaboratively with solution providers, programme initiators and a wider community of stakeholders to develop a vibrant positive impact market and address the funding gap for sustainable development, most notably in the context of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Working closely with UNEP FI’s Communications team, the consultant will promote the work of the Positive Impact Finance initiative to the financial sector and beyond. The position will be based in Geneva.
